A Little Dog with a Big Heart
The Story of Big Marv
Big Marv’s Legacy was created to honor the life of Big Marv, a 3.5 lb special needs chihuahua with a combined social media following of almost half a million people. His unintended social media platform allowed him to capture hearts and enter the homes of many over the last 2 years. Unable to stand or walk on his own, he inspired many to exceed what we imagine possible with physical limitations.
To honor what Big Marv started, we set out to help animals in shelters, animals living on the street with their human companions, and to keep educating people about the therapies available for special needs animals. Through that outreach we have grown into providing much needed supplies to the unhoused population in our community: warm meals, animal care supplies, and backpacks filled with socks, toiletries, flashlights, wipes, and first aid kits.
