How can we help support this cause?
In our linktree link there are options to support with financial donations, but also an Amazon wishlist of items that we are always updating for what’s needed most at any given time.
Where are you currently providing these services to the community?
For now, we are currently providing weekly outreach of supplies to animal shelters and food support along with supplies to people in need & living on the street in Los Angeles County, Orange County & San Bernardino County in Southern California.
Do you have a 501c3?
YES. The official name of our non-profit is BIG MARV’S LEGACY.
Is my donation tax deductible?
YES, all donations to a non-profit are tax deductible.
How can I keep up with where my donations are benefiting animals & humans?
We have social media accounts on Facebook, Instagram and TikTok where we post regularly with our outreach activity.
What supplies are needed most at animal shelters?
Since shelters most often receive food donations, the less common and often needed donations are actually cleaning supplies like bleach, mops, towels and laundry detergent. They can also always use cots for the dogs to sleep on and disposable pee pads.
What are the most needed supplies for humans in need when they live on the street?
In our experience so far, we have seen that socks, underwear, deodorant, snacks, and water are the most needed and appreciated items.
