Meet Taffy
Meet Taffy! Taffy is a sweet, energetic 1–2-year-old girl who came to the shelter immediately after having puppies, suffering from a severe skin infection and likely having spent much of her previous life confined and used for breeding.
Thanks to her dedicated foster, Taffy has made incredible progress. She has healed beautifully, been spayed, and undergone BOAS surgery to improve her breathing. She’s now healthy, playful, affectionate, and absolutely toy obsessed!
Taffy is still learning what it means to feel safe and secure in a home. She is working on crate training and house manners and will need a patient, loving family willing to give her the time and consistency she deserves. She can occasionally be reactive toward other dogs, so she may do best as the only dog or with a carefully selected canine companion.
Taffy has so much love and personality to give. With patience, structure, and plenty of affection, we know this special girl will continue to blossom into an amazing companion. She’s ready for someone to show her that she’s finally home. ❤️
